PBS NAI Awarded IT Innovation Prize

Hesse Regional Winner by Initiative Mittelstand

Each year, Initiative Mittelstand (Initiative for Small and Medium Sized Businesses) awards the IT INNOVATION PRIZE to innovative, superior value IT solutions that are suitable for SMEs. In 2012, the jury of experts also awarded a prize in this category to the PBS Nearline Analytic Infrastructure.

According to the winner's certificate the jury was particularly impressed by the prize-winning solution that for this reason is among the front-runners out of more than 2,500 applications. The IT INNOVATION PRIZE, awarded by Initiative Mittelstand, is now already in its ninth year of establishing ties between IT innovations and small and medium sized businesses. The prize was sponsored by Cornelia Rogall-Grothe, Federal Government Commissioner for Information Technology, and IBM Deutschland GmbH. You can find more information at www.innovationspreis-it.de.

The award was presented at the IBM booth at CeBIT.
