PBS Info Day this year in St. Leon-Rot

Our annual event takes place on June 19, 2012 at the SAP University in St. Leon-Rot (ROTO) in the upper rooms W1 and W2. The PBS Info Day coincides with the meeting of the DSAG (German SAP User Group) work group "Archiving and Information Lifecycle Management" that is also taking place at the SAP University on the following day, June 20. This means that participants have the chance to attend both events consecutively at the same location, and receive bundled presentations on all innovations, interesting topics, and tips and tricks concerning Information Lifecycle Management in SAP environments.

Since PBS will be presenting its information this year in a compact format to some extent, parallel sessions are planned after a joint introduction. These are divided into two thematic blocks in which presentations about SAP ERP and SAP BW can be found. Of course, participants are free to switch between the thematic blocks. For organizational purposes, we would ask you to select your sessions in advance when registering.

Our logon page is already available. Do not forget to register! As usual you can send a representative if you are unable to attend, or you can cancel your registration free of charge up to 14 days prior to the event.

Broad spectrum of topics around ILM and Big Data

This year participants can also expect a wide variety of topics on the program regarding Information Lifecycle Management in SAP systems. Currently, this also includes the interaction between SAP HANA and PBS Nearline Storage, a subject that will be presented by an SAP colleague. As in previous years, SAP speakers will also present new developments and enhancements to their ILM component.

Once again we are very pleased that PBS users have agreed to share their experiences of using PBS Software and to hold a presentation. The three presentations up until now are all related to the column-based PBS nearline storage solutions for SAP ERP as well as for SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse. The external speakers come from retail and from the public service sectors. You will be able to find a more detailed agenda as well as further information very soon on our website.
