PBS renews in Gartner's Magic Quadrant for Archiving and System Retirement

This year, PBS Software has climbed from the peak of the niche vendors to the peak of the challengers. Gartner's analysts predict an average yearly growth rate (CAGR) within the area of archiving of structured data and application retirement of 10 percent. Gartner’s analysts estimate that already 75 percent of applications for archiving structured data will support Big Data analyses by 2016.

This is a promising prognosis for PBS Software since the company also addresses big data aspects such as accelerated data analyses in addition to archiving. Gartner’s analysts praised the many user-friendly and practice-related functions of the PBS solutions and the high degree of market maturity that result from long development cycles, as well as the sole focus on SAP. The customer support was also positively recognized, both that provided by PBS as well as by the PBS partners.
