PBS CBW NLS IQ is a solution for SAP® NetWeaver BW that is based on the SAP nearline storage concept. It can be used both in traditional as well as in SAP HANA environments. CBW NLS IQ includes a SAP IQ database license (OEM) and in this way constitutes a complete solution from one source. Alternatively, the IQ database license can also be purchased via SAP.
CBW NLS IQ comprises the complete functional scope of the predecessor version CBW NLS ADK with which archiving and drill-down reporting of BW data was realized exclusively on the basis of ADK archive data. Customers can now decide themselves whether the data should be stored in SAP IQ or, alternatively, in the archive.
