Archiving Services Program

PBS Software Americas provides managed services for Data Archiving in customer environments to ensure that archiving is consistently managed on a monthly basis by consultants who specialize in PBS solutions and SAP data archiving. 

Services include:

• Manage the scheduling, execution, and monitoring of all configured data archive objects using the Archive Manager utility

• Manage troubleshooting of all incomplete or abnormally ended archive jobs

• Provide 2nd level support to technical resources for related archive data retrieval issues using PBS Archive add ons

• Manage scheduling of all related PBS indexing jobs for completed data archiving and troubleshoot index errors

• Maintain a tracking log of errors / open items related to successful completion of archiving by object

• Provide monthly reporting of archiving status to include the volume of data archived by object / month

• Manage modification of archive scheduling based on customer requirements for black-out or maintenance periods
