GDPR compliant protection for data that is extracted from your SAP system
Using the PBS Enterprise Content Store (ECS), you can display and evaluate data that originates from SAP systems on a PC outside the SAP environment. It normally also includes personal data.
To meet the data protection obligations that result from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), it is essential to block or delete personal data.
In PBS ECS the fields to be blocked or deleted are defined in a template file. You can adapt these fields to your needs.
ECS evaluates this file and then no longer displays the related personal data. The ECS user decides whether the personal data is only masked for the display or deleted physically in the ECS database.
